Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. Her father and mother are both English. She attended The Brit School when she was 14. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was obtained. At school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage plays, like King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her career as an actress in the movie Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in six episodes Trexx and Flipside playing the character of Ollie. In 2008 she landed Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on both series 2 and 3. Madekwe also appeared on the comedic How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport for the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just two weeks on The CW and then it came to an end. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. After two years as a main character, she was a guest in the very first episode of season three. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba on the show Salem. Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for the Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty as well as four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's four brothers, who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer months, which means she basically grew up in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. As a result, at the age of 2 when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance after this. Ashley performed in competitive tap, jazz and ballet in high divisions. She also won the top awards for soloists in every major dance contests, like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
