Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born on the 19th of December in 1986. Her country of birth is Canada. She's appeared in numerous films in Hollywood. Her most well-known work is portraying the role of Alexis Rose in the CBC sitcom television series Schitt's Creek started in 2015 and ended in 2020. The performance was highly praised by critics and won the Primetime Emmy Award. Parents of her were teachers. Her parents both taught. She joined Elmwood School in Ottawa where the stage was where she appeared in productions. After that, she went to Concordia University where she earned a theatre degree. After that, she took acting classes in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. At the age 22, she relocated her family to Los Angeles where acting became her career. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 by appearing on the tv action thriller Lethal Obsession. The actress continued to work as she played minor, supplementary roles in many movies. Some of these films have been very well-received like Story of Jen released in the year 2008, Lick in 2010, as well as A Windigo Tale released the same year. She also appeared on Canadian television series like Good God aired on 2012 Rookie Blue aired that same year. The actress has demonstrated she is able to work on many different acting projects.
