Tom Selleck-2Thomas William Selleck is an American actor. His most memorable role was Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in the television series Magnum. (1980-1988) in which he earned five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead actor in a Drama Series, winning in 1985. From 2010 to 2010 Selleck has been the New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. In 2005 the actor played the troubled police chief of a small town Jesse Stone in nine television films based on the Robert B. Parker novels.In films, Selleck has played bachelor architect Peter Mitchell in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and its sequel Three Men and a Little Lady (1990). In addition to his roles in Magnum, P.I., Selleck has been seen in more than 50 movies and television shows, including the movies Quigley Down Under, Mr. Lassiter and baseball. He played the recurring TV role of Monica Geller's romantic interest Dr. Richard Burke and Lance White on Friends. Additionally the role of A.J. Cooper in Las Vegas.
